Pollination:Our snack cucumber is a female-flowering variety and must NOT be pollinated.

Support:We recommend securing this climbing plant upwards along the columns with a string.

Pruning:Cucumbers require regular pruning. Try to limit the plant to a maximum of 5 flowers at first. Too many cucumbers on one plant can cause the young fruits to turn yellow or brown and shrivel before they have a chance to ripen. Trim the main stem to the desired height. This will allow side branches to grow, making the plant bushier and ensuring it stays in the light. Check the roots monthly and cut them back by about 1/3 if necessary.

Harvest:Harvest the cucumbers when they are about 7 to 10 centimeters long, look dark green, and after the yellow flower on the top has fallen off. To harvest, simply cut the fruit off at the stem. You shouldn't let the cucumbers ripen for too long, otherwise they may taste bitter.
