Why I founded Everleaf
I worked in the food industry for a long time and saw something there that stuck with me.
Almost 45% of all fresh food is thrown away. Along the long supply chain, fresh vegetables lose a large portion of their nutrients on the way from the field to the supermarket and spoil in the process. What ends up on the shelf has often been traveling for days and has little taste left. Much of what we then buy, we throw away at home because it's too much or spoils too quickly.

At the same time, the United Nations estimates that we will need 70% more food by 2050 to feed the world's population. Yet, we are already pushing the Earth's resources to their limits.
For this reason, I wanted to create an alternative that allows our vegetables to grow where they are needed. In your kitchen, not in a field hundreds or thousands of kilometers away. This way, you also know exactly what's in your food, guaranteed free of pesticides and other harmful substances.

Why you're also helping the environment
The research institute Project Drawdown analyzed how households can most effectively reduce their carbon footprint. The result: wasting less food and eating more plant-based foods are the two biggest levers every individual has. Not the car, not heating.
Exactly these two points are at the heart of Everleaf. If you can harvest fresh what you need every day, no waste is generated and you automatically develop healthier eating habits.

Made in Austria
Every Everleaf Garden is created in our workshop in Vienna. From the circuit board to the finished product, we assemble each garden ourselves. We deliberately choose robust, durable materials and only install components that meet our high quality standards. No compromises are made for the sake of cost. Before a garden leaves our warehouse, it is extensively tested and securely packaged. So that you can enjoy it for years to come.
