Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you can harvest most of our plants leaf by leaf. This means they continue to grow for many weeks or even months. For example, a single lettuce plant yields the equivalent of about three supermarket lettuces. The big advantage: You only harvest as much as you need, avoiding food waste. However, there comes a time when the plant enters the flowering phase or the stem becomes too strong; then you harvest the entire plant and start with a new one.
All seeds at Everleaf are non-GMO and organically grown as much as possible. But don't worry, the plants you grow are still free of pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, plant hormones or other suspect substances! We have tested all the plants in our range long and hard to ensure that you have a successful growing experience.
We also offer you the option to purchase empty plant pods from us so that you can grow your own seeds and varieties.
For our substrate we only use 100% compostable coconut fibers - completely free of peat and therefore harmless to nature.
When stored in a cool, dry, and dark place, the capsules will keep for 9–12 months without any loss of germination capacity. An ideal temperature is approximately 10–18 °C. Do not store in the refrigerator, as condensation can damage the seeds. Store in the original packaging or in an airtight container, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
