It's almost time - you'll soon be able to grow your own vegetables at home! But before you start, it's important to remember that the right location for your indoor garden can play a crucial role in the success of your harvest. Here are a few tips to find the perfect spot for your Everleaf Garden.
Temperature and Humidity
Like most houseplants, your Everleaf Garden prefers normal room temperature. The optimal range is between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius, where all our plant varieties grow best simultaneously, and you can harvest repeatedly for the longest time. Even at slightly warmer temperatures, your Garden will continue to grow. Varieties that prefer it a bit cooler, such as leafy greens, will only bolt (flower) a little earlier, which shortens the harvesting period. For maximum harvesting joy over a long period, we therefore recommend staying within the specified range. As for humidity, it is not as critical as temperature. As long as conditions are neither too dry nor too humid, your plants should have no problems.
Water and Power Supply
The Everleaf Garden needs to be refilled regularly with tap water. Therefore, it is advisable to place it near a water source. Also, you will need to clean your system from time to time. It helps if there is a bathroom or sink nearby. Make sure there is an electrical outlet within reach to power the indoor garden.
Pest Protection
Indoors, the risk of pest infestation is significantly lower than in the garden. A few small things can still help keep it as low as possible: It's best not to place your Everleaf Garden directly next to a window or door that is often open. Highly frequented passageways are also less ideal. And if you have pets that go outside, it's worth placing the Garden out of their reach.

Light and Noise
Direct sunlight is not a problem for the plants and can even reduce the system's required lighting duration. Also, keep in mind that if the indoor garden is in the bedroom, the LED light, which is on for 16 hours, and occasional system noises can be perceived as disturbing.
Regular Checks
Choose a location that you visit regularly to ensure your plants are doing well. Although we recommend a sheltered location, it's important to keep an eye on the plants.
