The Everleaf Garden is not only a wonderful piece of nature in your home, but also a place where every plant finds optimal growing conditions. Here are some tips on how to best place your plants in the Everleaf Garden so that they make the most of the light and thrive.
Different light intensities
In the Everleaf Garden, the positioning of the plants plays a significant role. The light intensity varies depending on their proximity to the center of the garden. Plants that need a lot of light should initially be placed inside. If your plant later becomes too large for this area, you can easily replace it with a plant from outside. The larger the plants become, the higher the light intensity becomes as they grow closer to the light.
Recommended placement
We have put together three plant starter sets for you to use as a guideline. However, please note that these are only recommendations. In the end, the placement of your plants is entirely up to you.
You can also see how many seedlings should be left per plant by looking at the "Thinning" column. You should cut off the rest as soon as the seedlings form their first main leaves. An empty field means that you do not need to thin anything and all seedlings should grow.
Inside or outside? A guide
In addition to the starter kits, we would like to give you an overview of which plants should be placed inside or outside. In this picture you can also see the number of seedlings that should remain after germination. Remember that some plants need space to grow optimally.
By choosing their position carefully, you can ensure that they make the most of the light and thrive. Use our recommendations as a starting point and design your garden to suit your own taste. Plants that need little light can just as easily be placed indoors.
